Position Objective
Due to the current circumstances brought about by the Covid-19 outbreak, this position does not yet have a start date. However given the importance of the role, we will continue to actively interview candidates during this time, with the intention of completing the hiring process and extending an offer as soon as we are able to do so. Initial interviews will be over the phone and/or video. An architect role to define and develop Windows/Linux server based application software for Konica Minolta security products
Essential Job Functions
Define architecture, design, develop and maintain key components of server application modules, integrate third party solutions and deploy solutions to market in timely fashion.
The candidate is required to define the network and security features/policies for these modules to interface with third party Cloud/SSO solutions
Coordinate with third party vendors, customer sites and KM internal teams for, technology integration and evaluation
Achieve project goals within allotted schedules and play a lead role in defining the overall strategy for the server related software technologies.
Act in a leadership role in resolving any outstanding issues in critical release cycles.
Ability to work on different projects in parallel while delivering results. Ability to manage the project and lead other junior engineers.
Desire to learn and research new technologies.
Occasional travel is required
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
Experience in development of .NET applications and deployment for enterprise level infrastructure
Experience developing with .NET (C#, VB.Net) to create networking or security services for Windows server based deployments
Experience working with Networking protocols TCP/IP, Socket programming, Client/Server Authentication protocols, IPSec, SSL, Cloud Authentication Protocols like OAUTH, SSO Protocols
Experience working with Windows security protocols and related infrastructure in .NET framework. Good understanding of Windows Communications Foundation.
Object Oriented software development (C+
or Java), knowledge of the software design process
Experience in defining requirements, creating software architecture and developing design concepts for application development
Experience with other technologies such as Mobile security or Cloud infrastructure is a plus.
Experience working in Agile development model
Experience working with Linux system level programming
Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications
Master's degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
