Job Description:
QuinStreet is seeking a results-driven, versatile and dynamic Network Engineer to maintain and manage our two 24x7 mission-critical (revenue generating) data center environments. QuinStreet has offices across the continental USA as well as in Brazil and India. Further, this role involves maintaining the corporate network, from WAN to LAN (including VoIP) across all sites. This individual will be expected to bring new and innovative ideas to the business to help us reduce cost and/or improve our technology position.
Responsibilities:
Software and hardware upgrades
Operational MACDs (Moves/Adds/Changes/Deletes)
Working closely with the SysAdmin team, database team, application support team and developers to ensure new applications and network changes are correctly prioritized, planned, and implemented
Participation in on-call duties is required for handling after hours escalated service calls
Managing our carrier relationships, equipment software/hardware upgrades, vendor/reseller relationships and pricing
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field

years of experience as a Network Engineer with emphasis on operations support, design, and implementation
Required certifications include: CCNA, CCNP, Security certifications (e.g. CCSP) and Juniper certifications
Motivated self-starter who has the ability to lead by example and approach technical problems with creative solutions
Effective presentation, analytical, communications and customer relationship skills
Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
Ability to work autonomously on multiple projects and associated deliverables, time management skills are a critical requirement
Ability to work as a team for project deliverables
10-20% travel
Available for rotational on-call after hour duties
