At the core, we are looking for an Engineer who embodies DevOps and can bring the Development mentality into Operations. You'll be building the next generation internal PaaS and Iaas capabilities - building the tools and frameworks that other development teams will be relying on to deliver customer facing applications that are scalable and reliable within an elastic infrastructure.
Specifically you'll be:
Mentoring team members while building Java based test frameworks
Create and maintain Python based internal tools
Build and respond to Monitoring systems
Here is what we need:
10
years building commercial software and services with strong Java skills (profiling, mocking, and class hierarchy design)
5 plus years with Web APIs or Web Front End
Unix and Shell Scripting
Maven
Plusses for this role. If you don't have specific experience in any these, you soon will:
Jenkins and Python
Measuring application performance with native iOS and Android apps
Open Source
This role will have you being seen and noticed in a very high volume B2C ecommerce environment. The team is super Tech oriented and very tight.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
