Thrift stores aren't as easy as they look! It takes a lot of energy to sort through the clothes, pick out what will sell and then get it out on the floor in a way that is organized and also inspires a fun shopping experience for our customers.
People who succeed with us tend to be high energy, outgoing and style oriented people who have a knack for organization.
Previous experience as a buyer at a second hand store preferred but not required.
Must have a demonstrated eye for current thrifted fashion trends aimed at teens and young adults.
Schedule:
Looking for a buyer who can work 4-5 shifts per week with open availability and willingness to work opening or closing shifts as needed.

Plato's Closet San Mateo opened in 2008 and is focused on an excellent selling experience for customers who are looking to part ways with their teen and young adult clothing, shoes and accessories.
We offer up these items for our customers at prices up to 70% off what you might find at the mall.
We pride ourselves on recycling people's closets while at the same time offering a discount shopping experience to make fashion accessible to everyone regardless of budget.
