Serves as the direct supervisor for RBTs for clinical, administrative, and overall support.
Conducts initial and ongoing assessment of clients and produces treatment plan reports per funder guidelines to include recommendations for treatment and supervision hours.
Collaborates with the Client Services Team to provide clinical recommendations based on the needs of the client and provides clinically appropriate solutions.
Collaborates with operations managers and training department to support BT performance development.
Coordinates care with other service providers on the client's support team including regular collaboration with external and internal providers and funders to ensure a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate, multidisciplinary service delivery approach.
Maintains CEUs necessary to supervise RBT and BCBA candidates and grow expertise in job related tasks including but not limited to early intervention/early childhood development, NDBI, ABA techniques and strategies, supervision, and parent education.
Demonstrates position competencies in relation to role responsibilities.
When requested, develop and present training in an area of clinical expertise or case reviews appropriate for the audience (e.
g.
, RBTs, BCBA fellows, CLT, Say/do, etc.
) to continue to foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
Administrative
Responsibilities:
Meets productivity requirements through an interactive process of managing and reviewing forecasting against actuals as it pertains to the Client Care Optimization pyramid.
Provides efficient and effective service in all areas of performance.
Maintains accurate documentation of billable tasks that meets the requirements of regulatory agencies and funding sources and is HIPAA compliant.
Manages and tracks direct and indirect client sessions to ensure that services are provided to the full extent of the authorization for each client.
Coordinates documentation to ensure reauthorization and continuation of services at the appropriate time.
Manages other administrative functions expected and applicable to this role such as timely rendering of services, management of weekly/monthly schedule and multidisciplinary communication.
Other duties as assigned Requirements:
Qualifications BCBA certification (BCBA-D also considered) and program management experience required at time of hire.
Required to maintain active BCBA certification status.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience using ABA intervention techniques incorporating discrete trials, verbal behavior, play, natural environment teaching, and incidental teaching.
Familiarity with early childhood development and ABA techniques designed for EI populations including Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBI) such as PRT and ESDM required.
Excellent time management skills and demonstrated ability to respond to urgent needs.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion pertaining to the work environment, company and client information.
Ability to appropriately interpret and implement policies, procedures and regulations of Opya; training will be provided.
Ability to consistently demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and support others to learn new skills, through clear communication and BST practices.
Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of general office equipment and systems including phones, computer/word processing software, email, Google docs, etc.
Punctual, reliable and committed to long-term employment Effective written, hearing and verbal communication using the primary language within the workplace (English) Energetic and creative Understanding of current best practices in providing and billing for ABA treatment Excellent time management and prioritization skills Ability to explain essential components of the treatment plan to outside stakeholders in layman's terms.
